Rug Squares Pattern

I've been looking for something to do to use up the little bits of yarn that I have left from making the hats and scarves and came up with the following pattern, which I work using two strands of yarn held together (1 Off White and 1 colored):
  • With an H hook chain 7
  • sc in second chain from hook across (7 sc)
  • chain 1, turn, sc in each chain across (7sc)
  • repeat until piece is 7 rows tall
I'm actually quite pleased with it. It makes the cutest little squares that are 6 centimeters square. They'll be perfect to eventually work together into a rug. They're nice and sturdy too from being crocheted with 2 strands at one time.
